Confessions of a frazzled mom:
I yell at bedtime.
But I’m working on it.
Want to come along?
Human being-ness means being aware of our needs
As an introverted woman, wife, mother — having stamina for the journey means I need mental and emotional quiet.
Regularly.
Or I turn into the yelling, emotionally distant mom I want to pretend I never am.

Our story
About Quiet Mothering
Quiet Mothering is about the mom I want to be.
The mom I’m working toward being.
And exploring how best to get there, on a practical how-does-this-work-in-my-real-live-family type of way.
Even when I want to toss the kids off the balcony as I pull my hair out.
Maybe especially then.
I want not to yell.
I want peace for myself and my children at bedtime.
And I want that for you as well.
